Making poke can seem intimidating but it’s oh, so rewarding. It’s naturally bursting with flavor-packed proteins and delicious sauces. This octopus version can be made at home and is a step above the chains you’re used to.

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces baby octopus (or squid)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, gluten free
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 cup refrigerated kimchi, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions
  • 2 nori sheets, finely cut into shreds
