Bison Sliders with Maple Balsamic Aioli

These bison burger sliders are the perfect party treat! The maple balsamic aioli is absolutely marvelous and is the perfect topping for bison meat. Combine with a side of french fries and make it a full meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 16 ounces bison meat
  • For the bison sliders:
  • splash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch kosher salt
  • 1 sprig of thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • For the browned mushrooms:
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (homemade or store-bought)
  • For the maple balsamic aioli:
  • Ingredients
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground dried mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons Herbes de Provence
  • Parmesan cheese, shaved
  • King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls ®
  • butter lettuce
