Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
  • For Topping
  • 1/2 cup panko crumbs regular bread crumbs would work too
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 cups cauliflower florets about 2 small heads
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 cups milk 2 percent or whole
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated cheddar or any other big flavored cheese would work
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
